Flower Studies
Eufloria’s core offering, these works are an artistic take on the time honored tradition of scientific herbaria where dried and pressed plants are mounted and stored for long-term scientific study. These pieces are meant to be shared, to adorn and decorate the home, bringing nature closer.
Available in different sizes, each flower study is a single flower species mounted on handmade watercolor paper with plant identification label, top matted, and framed. The bloom may appear as one flower or a small cluster, depending on its natural form. This format highlights the unique structure and botanical detail, ideal for collecting or building a gallery wall over time. Frame options include simple oak and natural wood.
Plants used in these Flower Studies are gathered from my home in Santa Fe or my land in the Jemez Mountains of New Mexico. I keep over 40 varieties of New Mexico wildflowers and native plants in stock. I also gather special collections from other states in the Southwest. Flower Study Set - Large Format
Four or more distinct flower species, each mounted individually on handmade watercolor paper with a plant identification label and framed together. These works allow each flower to remain distinct while forming a cohesive whole.
A 16x20 frame holds four A5 specimens. In larger formats, additional species, or specimen sizes (A4, A3) may be selected.
