Mountain Sweet Cicely
Mountain Sweet Cicely (Osmorhiza berteroi) hand collected and pressed from the Jemez Mountains (Southern Rockies) of New Mexico. The pressed plant is mounted on archival quality, handmade watercolor paper imported from India. Bottom of paper is embossed with the Eufloria seal.
Mountain on blue fade resistant art paper. Frame is natural maple frame with tempered glass. Frame opening size is 8×10. Each of these pieces is unique. Note that I have several of these available, please select the variant you would like.
These works are made with the original pressed plants that I hand collected, they are not prints.
**Please note that all dried plants are susceptible to fading or changing color over time. All my plants are pressed for 6-12 weeks in accordance with herbarium standards to maximize their color and quality. The speed and degree of fading varies from plant to plant, but all will eventually take on a nice vintage look. Hanging this piece out of direct sunlight will preserve the color for longer.
The plants were collected responsibly, sustainably, and honoring nature in the process. See my blog post on my website eufloriabotanicart.com/blog for more information on my ethics on wildflower collection.
