July in a Jemez Mountain Meadow | 16x20 Pressed Plant Art
Step into a high-altitude wildflower meadow with this vibrant pressed botanical composition. I hand-selected these wildflowers at peak bloom to create a living snapshot of early summer in New Mexico's Jemez Mountains. These flowers were collected in 2024 and the piece create and release in 2025.
Featured botanicals:
Gunnison’s Mariposa Lily
Beautiful Cinquefoil
Orange Sneezeweed
Common Harebells
Nodding Onion
Northern Paintbrush
Each specimen is carefully pressed and arranged to celebrate the diverse flora of the mountain high country. The interplay of textures, colors, and forms captures the wild beauty of a meadow in full bloom—perfect for bringing nature's artistry into your home.
This piece was featured in Colorado Springs Surface Gallery’s 2026 “Rewilding” Group Art Exhibition.
Framed in natural wood. UV-blocking glass available upon request for an extra fee.
This is an original pressed plant artwork — not a print or reproduction. Only 1 available.
Top-matted — the handmade watercolor paper with its deckled edges sits on top of the mat, keeping the plants and paper fully visible. The frame includes spacers so the plants do not contact with the glass which helps with preservation.
Frame size: 16×20" | Mat: blue | Frame: natural wood Ready to hang. Ships carefully packaged.
Every purchase gives back: 10% of profits support the Navajo-led Carrizo Mountain Herbarium in Shiprock, New Mexico.
