Choose your flowers

I specialize in wildflowers of the Southwest. I collect mainly in New Mexico from mountain meadows, forests, bosque and riparian areas, and high desert. Each year I take collecting trips to other southwestern states. In 2027, my collecting trips will focus on southwest Colorado and Arizona. I also grow flowers in my own garden in Santa Fe.

The pieces shown here are examples to help you choose which flowers you ’d like in your custom work.

Every pressed flower is one of a kind. The flowers in your finished piece will be the same kind you choose here, but each will have its own shape, size, and color, so your piece will look different from these examples.

Seasonal collecting. While wildflowers are in bloom, from the first violets and prairie smoke of spring through the lupines and harebells of summer to the goldenrod and monkshood of late summer, I can gather new flowers for special orders. In fall and winter, once the plants have gone to seed, I work only with flowers already pressed and in stock. If you ’d like a flower I don’t have in stock, I’ll collect it when it blooms in the wild. I work within the rhythms of Mother Nature, so from the time it’s collected, please expect 4 to 6 weeks for your piece to be dried, pressed, composed, framed, and shipped. I can occasionally source pressed flowers from other artisans, so please inquire if you have something in mind.
